5k Run & Walk
Date: November 2, 2013
Location: Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, MD
Time: 5k @ 8:00 AM, walk begins immediately after run begins
Entry Fees:
5k: $20 until June 31, $25 until August 30, $30 until October 30, $35 at packet pickup and on race day
Walk: $15 until August 30, $20 after August 30 including packet pickup and race day

Course:
The race will begin inside the Ripken Academy complex at Ripken Stadium and will navigate through the surrounding area before ending on the warning track inside Ripken Stadium.
Awards:
- Top overall male and female runner
- Top male and female runners in each of the following age groups: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+
Amenities:
T-shirts will be given to all registered participants (sizes not guaranteed after October 11, availability not guaranteed to race-day registrants). There will be a water station on the course, and water & sports drink at the finish line. Course marshals will direct racers at all major turns.
Packet Pickup:
Packets will be available for pickup on Friday, November 1st from 4pm – 7pm at a location TBD. Packets will also be available on race day starting at 6:45 am.
Parking:
Runners should park in Ripken’s largest lot using the first entrance on Long Drive (entrance is on the right). Please park on the side of the lot closest to the stadium. Parking attendants will be there to assist. We encourage you to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the race start to minimize traffic once the 5K begins.
Volunteers and vendors should park in the smaller lot directly in front of the stadium entrance. You will not be able to enter or leave this parking lot from 15 minutes prior to the race start (8:00am) until 15 minutes after the last person finishes the course (estimated 9:00am). If you need to leave during this time, please park in the larger parking lot.
