5k Trail Race and 1 Mile Walk

Proceeds will benefit Kelly’s Dream for cancer support, a non-profit organization created by a cancer survivor to help support the fight against cancer.

The event will be held rain or shine, and entry fees are non-refundable.
Course Information:
5k Run Course
5k will begin at the Gunpowder Lodge and head out on the trails of Gunpowder State Park. Runners will encounter rocks, tree roots, and other natural trail features before returning to the Gunpowder Lodge. The terrain is not flat or smooth, and pets, strollers, and other wheeled devices are not allowed on the course.
1 Mile Walk Course
The 1 mile walk will start at the Gunpowder Lodge but divert from the 5k course and head towards flat, smooth dirt trails in Gunpowder State Park.

Top 3 overall males and females, as well as in each age group as follows:
19 & Under, 20-39, and 40+
Amenities:
T-shirts to all participants (sizes not guaranteed after February 24). Water and sports drink will be available at the halfway point of the 5k course, and course marshals will direct racers at major turns. After the race, Kelly’s Dream and The Gunpowder Lodge will host a cornhole tournament with live music from Barley Juice, face painting, food and drink specials, a raffle, and other fun activities.
Packet Pick Up:
Packets will be available for pick up on Friday, March 9th at the Gunpowder Lodge (Times TBD). Packets will also be available beginning at 8:30 AM on race day.
Due to time constraints on race day, we HIGHLY ENCOURAGE participants to pick up packets before the race.
